I don’t think I ever wrote you to thank you for altering my wedding dress. It came out so well and it fit me perfectly! Everyone complimented me on the lovely sleeves and the way the dress fit me so well.
I don’t think I would have felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day if I hadn’t been for all your hard work. The dress really is gorgeous after your alterations.

My experience with Luda was wonderful. She was recommended to me by a friend who was also very happy with the work she had done on her wedding dress.
My dress was a heavily beaded, very intricate mermaid style dress and Luda was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted and how to alter the dress perfectly to my body – even though it was a complicated dress to alter. She was very thorough and made sure the dress was a perfect fit before I took it home. We had 3 alteration sessions (an extra one since I lost some weight) and she was happy to make the changes that I asked for.
I also believe she gave me a very good price considering other places that I had gotten quotes from and it was a much more personalised experience with Luda. I was extremely happy on my wedding day with my dress and looking back at the photos it looked divine! I am very grateful for all of Luda’s hard work and attention to detail! I would highly recommend her to other brides!

Luda is nothing short of a miracle worker! After multiple fittings – and with just a couple of weeks to go until my wedding day – I had completely lost confidence in the dressmaker at the shop from which I’d bought my dress. I am so glad I turned to Luda for help, as within a matter of days she had completely transformed both my dress and bolero into perfectly fitting garments that truly reflected the look I wanted to achieve. This involved major alterations to my dress (which were not at all straightforward given the corseting and intricate beading on the bodice), and the bolero (which effectively had to be remade from scratch with the existing fabric).
It is entirely thanks to Luda that my wedding dress was everything I hoped it would be!Luda’s unique combination of creative flair and technical brilliance means she is able to understand both the look you want to achieve and (most importantly) how to achieve it. I have Luda to thank for my beautiful wedding dress and my lovely new cocktail dress. Luda laid the first steps for my wedding dress by fitting the calico and then after the wedding she transformed it into a beautiful and elegant cocktail dress. Her advice and keen eye for detail was invaluable and I felt very lucky to have her expert assistance in making changes to such an important garment.
I had more than a few trepidations when it came to making changes to a wedding dress that I had loved – loved so much that I couldn’t bear to consign it to a box in the attic. If you are considering having your wedding dress altered I highly recommend Luda’s services. She is a brilliant seamstress and a lovely lady as well.
On Leela’s dress we had to shorten the skirt and change all the top stitches(stiching) so that the colour could be mutched evenly across the different fabrics and stitching.

To make Jenny’s dress perfect for her , it had to be taken in quite a bit , the straps and hem required shortening because the dress was very long in the bodice and the skirt.
Luda’s work is second to none. I contacted Luda after seeing how professional and incredibly good the alterations to my sister’s wedding gown were and must say, I was not disappointed when Luda started working on my own wedding dress and in addition, a wrap to cover my shoulders in the church. Luda had also previously undertook alterations to a bridesmaid dress of mine and again, her work was amazing.
Luda’s experience in dress making coupled with her warm smile and friendly nature make for having alterations a breeze. She is so easy to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking to have any item of clothing made or altered, particularly wedding dresses where she excels.
